Starting and ending in Kathmandu, giving you an opportunity to discover the religious and cultural highlights of Nepal’s capital, and including an overnight stay in the scenic surrounds of Pokhara, this trip includes a 6 day trek, of the spectacular Annapurna region. Accommodation used on this Trek, is the Deluxe Ker & Downey lodges, said to be the best available along the Nepalese trekking routes. Almost two-thirds of the trekking in Nepal , is in the Annapurna region. Part of the region for the popularity of the Annapurna region, is it’s easy accessibility (close to Pokhara), and the diverse scenery that it offers, with both high snow clad mountains, and low land villages – this area truly provides a spectacular trekking experience. |

| Day 01 – Arrive Kathmandu |
 Your Nepal tour begins with your arrival into Kathmandu, where you will be met and transferred to the hotel Himalaya, your home for the next two nights.
Kathmandu, Nepal's capital and gateway city has plenty of cultural and religious sights worth visiting. Kathmandu and it's sister cities of Patan and Bhaktapur, together form part of what UNESCO calls "the Kathmandu valley world heritage site". Set at an altitude of about 4500 ft. above sea level, Kathmandu enjoys pleasant weather almost throughout, and that is another reason for it's popularity.

| Day 02 –In Kathmandu |
 Head out to see the sights of Kathmandu, start at the Durbar Square where your guide will point out a number of interesting pagodas and Indian style temples. Visit the monkey temple, with its commanding views of Kathmandu, Hanuman Dhoka - a temple complex in the middle of the old city consisting of a number of different monuments and an image of Lord Hanumana and also visit to Swayambhunath -- one of the world’s most glorious Buddhist Chaityas. This 2000 year-old monument has a large spire with the eyes of the Buddha pained on all four sides. It is the oldest of its kind in Nepal and is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Monument.
In the afternoon visit Patan's Durbar Square - a beautiful cluster of fine pagoda temples and stone statues. Also visit the Tibetan Handicraft Centre.

| Day 03 – Drive Kathmandu - Pokhara (200 kms/06 hrs) |
 The next stop on your Nepal tour is Pokhara, known for it’s natural beauty. Situated about 200km west of Kathmandu valley, the city is known as a center of adventure, and is the start point for most trekkers, and also a great place for those seeking to get closeup views of the mighty Himalayan peaks surrouding it.
On arrival check in at the hotel Pokhara Grande.

| Day 04 – Pokhara – Annapurna region Trekking (Trekking time 4-5 hrs, altitude 1100 mtrs) |
 This is the start of your trek in Nepal. You will be driven to the start point of the Trek, about 30 minutes from Pokhara. Your trek today takes you through sub-tropical forests that include tree orchids, rhododendrons and magnolias. You also pass through the village of Pothana where many Tibetan traders live and sell their souvenirs. This route then drops to the Modi River Valley, where Ker & Downey's Sanctuary Lodge is located. The lodge has magnificent views of the sacred and unclimbed Fishtail Mountain, or Machhapuchhre, as it is locally known. Lunch is at the lodge with the afternoon free to explore the surrounding river valley.

| Day 05 – Annapurna region Trekking (Trekking time 4-5 hrs, altitude 2000 mtrs) |
 This morning, leave the lodge walking out through the outlying farms , along the Modi River Valley. You then head out of the valley, towards the mountains. The trail passes through small hamlets, terraced rice fields and forests. Late afternoon, arrive at the Ker & Downey Himalaya lodge in Ghandruk. In addition to offering comfortable accommodation, hot water showers etc., this lodge offers magnificent close up views of the surrounding mountains.

| Day 06 – Ghandruk (Altitude 2000 mtrs) |
 A day to relax, and enjoy the surroundings. Wake up this morning with tea and coffee served in the garden, and watch the sunrise over Annapurna South, Annapurna 1, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, and the Fishtail. Later, your Sherpa guide, will take you on a walking tour of the mountain village, where you could shop for traditional Nepalese handicrafts and rugs, and the surrounding country side.

| Day 07 – Annapurna region Trekking (Trekking time 5-6 hrs, altitude 1450 mtrs) |
 Resume your trek this morning, walking out through the village of Ghandruk. This is the traditional route to the Annapurna base camp, so you may well pass expeditions on their way to the mountains. Continue descending, as you pass through villagers, smiling children, and even farm animals walking through the many villages on this route, until you reach Shauli Bazaar. Have a relaxing lunch at the Sanctuary lodge, before retracing your steps along the Modi River until reaching the cable bridge, from where you ascend to the Gurung Lodge.

| Day 08 – Annapurna region Trekking (Trekking time 3-4 hrs, altitude 1500 mtrs) |
 This morning start out trekking through the unspoilt village of Majhgaun. Your trek then takes us through sub-tropical forests that include tree orchids, rhododendrons and magnolias. You will also pass through the village of Pothana where many Tibetan traders live and sell their souvenirs. After about 4 hours, reach the Basanta Lodge in time for lunch. After lunch, you could trek to the old village of Dhampus. The Lodge here, offers sweeping views of the entire Annapurna Range, and a is a wonderful place to end your trek in Nepal.

| Day 09 – Return to Pokhara |
 This morning, leave the Basanta Lodge, and trek for about one hour, till the village of Chandrakot, from where your vehicle will transfer you either to your hotel, or to the airport in Pokhara. |
