Day 01

Arrive Delhi

Your Golden Triangle with Varanasi tour begins with an arrival at Delhi International Airport, where you will be met and transferred to the Vikram hotel in Delhi. The country's energetic capital, offers a panorama of fascinating but very conflicting images, from the forts, tombs and ruins in Old Delhi to high- rise buildings and stately homes on wide, tree-lined avenues in New Delhi.

A full day's sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi visiting the mighty Red Fort; Friday Mosque -Jama Masjid; silver street of Chandni Chowk; Raj Ghat - the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi; The Hindu temple - Birla Mandir; India Gate & Rajpath; Rashtrapati Bhawan - the President's House; Humayun's Tomb; Qutab Minar - a 73m high victory tower and the Bahai Temple - beautifully shaped to resemble a lotus flower.

Day 3

Train Delhi - Varanasi

This morning after breakfast you will be assisted with the checkout formalities. You are then free to explore the city on your own or do some last minute shopping before boarding your overnight train to Varanasi from New Delhi Railway station, the next stop on your Golden Triangle with Varanasi tour.

Day 04

In Varanasi

On your arrival in Varanasi, check in at the hotel Ideal Tower. Later in the afternoon, you will be picked up for a sightseeing tour of Varanasi which includes a visit to Sarnath situated 12 kms from the holy city of Varanasi. Gautam Buddha delivered his first sermon in Sarnath after attaining enlightenment in Bodhgaya followed by a visit to Asi Ghat, which is known as one of the five extraordinary ghats in India and then a visit to the beautiful Durga Temple, which was constructed by a Bengali Maharani in the 18th century and finally wind up by visiting the Kashi-Vishwanath or Golden Temple, devoted to Lord Shiva as the Lord of the Universe.

Day 05

Fly Varanasi – Agra

The day begins early with a Dawn Boat ride on the holy river Ganges. After the check-out formalities you will be transferred to the Varanasi Airport for your flight to Agra, the next stop on your Golden Triangle with Varanasi Tour. On your arrival check in at the Howard Plaza hotel in Agra.

Day 06

In Agra

The day starts with early sunrise visit to one of the Wonders of the World, Taj Mahal, constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The construction of this famous monument is said to have taken 22 years, starting from 1631. Later, on visit the Agra Fort, the walled city constructed by Famous Mughal emperors and then to Itmad-ud-Daulah, the exquisite tomb of a Persian adventurer who became chief minister at the Emperor Jahangir's court.

Day 07

Drive Agra to Jaipur (250 kms/05 hrs)

After visiting the city of the Taj Mahal, start you drive to Jaipur, the pink city the next stop on your Golden Triangle with Varanasi tour en-route stopping at Fatehpur Sikri, the ancient capital. After visiting Fatehpur Sikri continue your drive to the city that arrays a pink carpet to all its visitors. Jaipur was painted pink to welcome Prince Albert in the year 1853. On your arrival, check in at hotel Zone By The Park for a 2 night stay and enjoy the remaining day at leisure and explore the well planned city and its colorful markets on your own.

Day 08

In Jaipur

After the breakfast start the full day sightseeing of Jaipur that includes the beautiful Amber Fort, 11kms from the city. Amber was once the ancient capital of Jaipur. The Fort is an excellent illustration of Rajput architecture, impressively situated on a hillside facing a lake, which reflects its walkways and walls. Returning to Jaipur, visit the palaces, museums and the halls of the City Palace (still a royal residence) and the Hawa Mahal, the Palace of the Winds. Finally wind up your sightseeing by visiting the Observatory, Jantar Mantar. It was built by Maharaja Jai Singh in 1728. Jantar Mantar appears to be an inquisitive collection of sculptures but in fact each construction has a detailed purpose such as measuring the positions of stars, altitudes and azimuths, and calculating

Jaipur – Delhi (250 kms/05 hrs) depart Delhi
