Day 01

Arrive Delhi

Your In-depth Rajasthan tour begins on your arrival at the Delhi International Airport. At the airport, you will be received by a Trans India Holidays representative and he will escort you to the hotel and help you with the check in formalities. The tour starts from the capital city, Delhi, a lively city, with an ideal combination of the ancient and the contemporary era. The city has two visible parts, Old Delhi which offers a beautiful panoramic view of the forts, tombs and the ancient ruins whereas the New Delhi offers high-rise buildings and stately homes on wide, tree-lined avenues.

Day 2

In Delhi

A full day sightseeing of the Old and the New Delhi starting from the largest Friday Mosque- Jama Masjid, the famous silver street of Chandni Chowk, the mighty Red Fort, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi-Raj Ghat, the famous Hindu temple-Birla Mandir, the India Gate & Rajpath, then to the President’s House-Rashtrapati Bhawan, then to the well known 73 m high victory tower- Qutub Minar and finally to the beautifully lotus shaped temple-Bahai temple.

Day 3

Drive Delhi to Agra (220 kms/04 hrs)

After visiting the lively city, Delhi, drive to Agra the city of the Taj Mahal, the next stop on your In-depth Rajasthan tour. Taj Mahal a great monument constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Agra is considered to be the highlight of any Golden triangle package. On your arrival in Agra, check in to your hotel and spend the evening enjoying the facilities or exploring the city of love on your own.

Day 4

Drive Agra to Samode (270 kms/05 hrs)

After visiting the city of the Taj Mahal, start your drive to Samode, the next destination on your In-depth Rajasthan tour, enroute stopping at Fatehpur Sikri the ancient capital of Emperor Akbar. This city was built in the 16th century, and was abandoned for 12 years due to the paucity of water. The entire city is still intact, and a sight of this city is worth remembering. The Buland Darwaza is the main entrance to this city. It is 54 m tall. After visiting the ancient capital continue your drive to Samode.
On your arrival in Samode, check in at the Samode Palace, one of India’s most charming and romantic heritage hotels. Samode Palace is an outstanding example of Rajput-Mughal architecture and flaunts some of the best paintings and mirror-work in the state.

Day 5

Drive Samode to Jaipur (42 kms/01 hrs)

After a relaxing stay in the beautiful Samode Palace, start your drive to Jaipur that arrays a pink carpet to all its visitors, the next stop on your In-depth Rajasthan tour.
On your arrival in Jaipur you will be met by our representative and will be transferred to your selected hotel.The rest of the day is at leisure, you can enjoy the facilities of the hotel or explore the beautiful city and its colorful bazaars on your own.

Day 6

In Jaipur

After the breakfast start the full day sightseeing of Jaipur that includes the beautiful Amber Fort, 11kms from the city. Amber was once the ancient capital of Jaipur. The Fort is an excellent illustration of Rajput architecture, impressively situated on a hillside facing a lake, which reflects its walkways and walls. Here you mount an Elephant, to get to the top of the Fort. Returning to Jaipur, visit the palaces, museums and the halls of the City Palace (still a royal residence) and the Hawa Mahal, the Palace of the Winds. Finally wind up your sightseeing by visiting the Observatory, Jantar Mantar. It was built by Maharaja Jai Singh in 1728. Jantar Mantar appears to be an inquisitive collection of sculptures but in fact each construction has a detailed purpose such as measuring the positions of stars, altitudes and azimuths, and calculating eclipses.

Day 7

Drive Jaipur to Khimsar (330 kms/07 hrs.)

After visiting the pink city, Jaipur, drive to Khimsar, the next destination on your In-depth Rajasthan Tour. At Khimsar you will spend one night at the Khimsar Fort, which stands steady on the edge of the Great Thar Desert. Khimsar Fort is now one of India’s finest heritage hotels. The Khimsar Fort with its battle-scarred walls and towers retells the glorious pasts in India, and offers a wide range of experiences to the guests. Later in the afternoon, you will be driven from the Khimsar Fort on a four wheel drive vehicle through the nearby villages to an area considered as a Black Buck Reserve. The Black Bucks are a rare species of Deer, and are only found in this area. This one hour Safari will be followed by a picnic tea stop on the famous Panchala Sand Dunes to witness the sun dipping into the amazing desert. The Khimsar Fort also offers Camel safaris to other neighboring sand dunes.

Day 8

Drive Khimsar to Jodhpur (90 kms/1.5 hrs)

Day 9

Drive Jodhpur to Deogarh (170 kms/04 hrs)

Drive to Deogarh, the next destination on your In-depth Rajasthan. Deogarh is Ideally located, in the heart of the Aravalli Hills, less than 3 hours drive from Udaipur, is the Deogarh Mahal. Lovingly restored, by one of the nicest and the friendliest families of Rajasthan, the Deogarh Mahal is one of the best Heritage Hotels in Rajasthan. Deogarh has a spectacular swimming pool, and several roof terraces, courtyards and walkways . The beautiful and conventional bedrooms are the result of a great deal of hard work, immense love and care. The surroundings of Deogarh are one of the friendliest and the safest to dip yourself in.

Day 10

Drive Deogarh to Udaipur (140 kms/03 hrs)

Udaipur, literally meaning “the city of Sunrise”, was established by a Rajput King, Maharana Uday Singh, in 1567, and this city is now also known as the “city of Lakes” and also the “Venice of the East” .Udaipur is a moony lake city with its marble whims, attractive hibiscus-covered gardens and elegant fountain porches, which symbolize the glory of Rajput era. Like many other cities in Rajasthan, Udaipur is the heirloom of an honor-bound race that loved the good things in life and often gave up their lives protecting them.

Day 11

In Udaipur

A half day's sightseeing tour of the Venice of the East, Udaipur. The guided sightseeing tour starts from the magnificent City Palace - towering over the lake, this is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. The Jagdish Temple that treasures a black stone image of Lord Vishnu as Jagannath, after that visit the beautiful Saheliyon ki bari a small ornamental garden with fountains, stone elephants and a enchanting lotus pool. The afternoon is free for you to further explore the town or enjoy the facilities and services of Oberoi Udaivilas.

Fly Udaipur to Delhi

This morning you will be met by our representative and will be escorted to the Udaipur Airport for your flight to New Delhi.

Day 13

Depart Delhi

Have a relaxed morning and after the regular check out, you will be met by our representative and will be escorted to the New Delhi International Airport in time to board flight home.
