Day 01

Arrive Delhi

Your India & Nepal tour begins with your arrival at the Delhi International Airport. At the airport, you will be received by a Trans India Holidays representative and he will escort you to the hotel and help you with the check in formalities. The tour starts from the capital city, Delhi, a lively city, with an ideal combination of the ancient and the contemporary era. The city has two visible parts, Old Delhi which offers a beautiful panoramic view of the forts, tombs and the ancient ruins whereas the New Delhi offers high-rise buildings and stately homes on wide, tree-lined avenues.

Day 2

In Delhi

A full day sightseeing of the Old and the New Delhi starting from the largest Friday Mosque- Jama Masjid, the famous silver street of Chandni Chowk, the mighty Red Fort, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi-Raj Ghat, the famous Hindu temple-Birla Mandir, the India Gate & Rajpath, then to the President’s House-Rashtrapati Bhawan, then to the well known 73 m high victory tower- Qutub Minar and finally to the beautifully lotus shaped temple-Bahai temple.

Day 3

Fly Delhi to Kathmandu

After visiting the lively capital city, head on to your next destination on your India and Nepal tour as you would be transferred to New Delhi International Airport for the flight to Kathmandu. The small kingdom of Nepal is a country full of diversity and charm, protected between India and Tibet. Kathmandu is a secret kingdom of great allure enveloping eight highest mountains out of the world’s ten highest mountains. The view is breathtaking from the highest point on Earth (Mount Everest) to the fertile jungle lowland.
On your arrival in Kathmandu you will be met by the guide and will be transferred to your chosen hotel.

Day 4

In Kathmandu

Head out for the sightseeing of Kathmandu, starting at the Durbar Square where your guide will point out a number of remarkable pagodas and Indian style temples after that continue your sightseeing and visit the monkey temple, with its imperious views of Kathmandu and finally visit the Hanuman Dhoka - a temple complex in the middle of the old city consisting of a number of different monuments and an image of Lord Hanumana.
Later in the afternoon visit Patan's Durbar Square - a beautiful collection of beautiful pagoda temples and stone statues and then pay a visit to the Bouddhanath Stupa - the largest stupas in South Asia and finally the Pashupatinath Temple – This temple is dedicated to Shiva.

Day 5

In Kathmandu

This morning go for sightseeing to Bhaktapur, also called Bhadgaon, a storehouse of medieval architecture founded in the 9th century and then continue your sightseeing and visit the Golden Gate at the Palace of 55 windows and then the Nyatapole temple, the tallest temple in the country; the Dattatreya temple and Pujari Math, with its uniquely carved wooden windows.

Day 6

Fly Kathmandu to Delhi & drive Delhi to Jaipur (250 kms/05 hrs)

After visiting the secret kingdom of Nepal, you will be met by our representative and will be transferred to Kathmandu Airport for your flight back to Delhi.
On your arrival in New Delhi International Airport your driver will pick you for the drive to Jaipur,the pink city. On your arrival in Jaipur, check in to your selected Jaipur hotel and enjoy a few hours or head out to explore the city's colorful bazaars.

Day 7

In Jaipur

After the breakfast start the full day sightseeing of Jaipur that includes the beautiful Amber Fort, 11kms from the city. Amber was once the ancient capital of Jaipur. The Fort is an excellent illustration of Rajput architecture, impressively situated on a hillside facing a lake, which reflects its walkways and walls. Returning to Jaipur, visit the palaces, museums and the halls of the City Palace (still a royal residence) and the Hawa Mahal, the Palace of the Winds. Finally wind up your sightseeing by visiting the Observatory, Jantar Mantar. It was built by Maharaja Jai Singh in 1728. Jantar Mantar appears to be an inquisitive collection of sculptures but in fact each construction has a detailed purpose such as measuring the positions of stars, altitudes and azimuths, and calculating eclipses.

Day 8

Drive Jaipur to Agra (250 kms/05 hrs)

Your drive to Agra takes you via Emperor Akbar's deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri, an almost perfectly preserved 400 year-old Mughal capital. Continue on to Agra - City of the Taj Mahal, a great monument to love and one of the world's most beautiful buildings. On arrival, check in to your selected hotel and pass the afternoon enjoying the facilities or exploring on your own.

Day 9

In Agra

The day starts early with a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, one of the Wonders of the World, created by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Later visit the Agra Fort, offering gorgeous views from its lofty walls, and the Itmad-ud-Daulah - the exquisite tomb of a Persian adventurer who became chief minister at the Emperor Jehangir's court. His grand-daughter Mumtaz married Shah Jehan and her tomb is, of course, the Taj Mahal. Overnight in Agra.

Day 10

Train Agra to Jhansi and drive Jhansi to Khajuraho (180 kms/03 hrs)

After visiting the city of Love, you will be transferred to the Agra Railway Station for the 8am train to Jhansi. On your Arrival just before 11am in Jhansi you will be collected for the drive to Khajuraho, the next destination on your India and Nepal tour where you will spend 1 night at your chosen hotel.

Day 11

Fly Khajuraho to Varanasi

The day starts with a sightseeing tour of the The Eastern group of temples includes the Lakshmi and the Varaha Temple, the Lakshmana Temple, the KandariyaMahadev, the Mahadeva Temple, the Devi Jagadamba Temple, the Chitragupta Temple and the Vishwanath Temple. The Eastern Group of temples houses the Parasvanath Temple, the largest and finest Jain temple in the city as well as the Adinath Temple, the Shantinath Temple, the Ghantai Temple, the Javari Temple, the Vamana Temple and the Brahma and Hanuman Temple.
The Western group of temples includes the Matangesvara Temple, the only temple in Khajuraho where the daily rituals still takes place and the Chausath Yogini Temple, the temple which is in ruins now and is believed to be the oldest temple in Khajuraho.
After sightseeing you will be transferred to Khajuraho airport in time for the flight to Varanasi where you will be met and transferred to your chosen hotel.

Day 12

In Varanasi

The day begins early with a Dawn Boat Ride on the holy river Ganges. The City and the river Ganges come alive at dawn, when hundreds and thousands of devotees come to the river to worship the Sun God. The edge of the river looks amazing from a boat at sunrise and this sight is spiritually uplifting.
Later explore the religious city of Varanasi visiting the bathing ghats along the banks of the holy river Ganges, The The Durgakund, The Sankatmochan -- Shrine of Monkey God Hanuman and the Kashiviswanath Temple.

Day 13

Fly Varanasi to Delhi

After visiting the holy city of Varanasi, you will be transferred to Varanasi Airport in time for your flight to Delhi where you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 14

Depart Delhi

Have a relaxed morning, after the check out you will be transferred to the New Delhi International Airport in time for your onward flight.
