• Day 1: Arrive Delhi

  On your arrival in Delhi, you will be met by a Trans India Holidays representative and will be transferred to your chosen hotel. The tour starts from the capital city, Delhi, a lively city, with an ideal combination of the ancient and the contemporary era. The city has two visible parts, Old Delhi which offers a beautiful panoramic view of the forts, tombs and the ancient ruins whereas the New Delhi offers high-rise buildings and stately homes on wide, tree-lined avenues. • Day 2: In Delhi

  A full day sightseeing of the Old and the New Delhi starting from the largest Friday Mosque- Jama Masjid, the famous silver street of Chandni Chowk, the mighty Red Fort, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi-Raj Ghat, the famous Hindu temple-Birla Mandir, the India Gate & Rajpath, then to the President’s House-Rashtrapati Bhawan, then to the well known 73 m high victory tower- Qutub Minar and finally to the beautifully lotus shaped temple-Bahai temple. We will be happy to recommend you with some restaurants and some beautiful places to stroll in the evening. Overnight stay in Delhi

• Day 3: Drive Delhi to Agra (220 kms/04 hrs)

  After visiting the lively city, Delhi, drive to Agra the city of the Taj Mahal, the next stop on your Golden triangle and Ranthambore tour. Taj Mahal a great monument constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. On your arrival in Agra, check in to your selected hotel and spend the evening enjoying the facilities or exploring the city of love on your own. Overnight stay in Agra

• Day 4: In Agra

  The day starts early sunrise visit to one of the Wonders of the World, Taj Mahal, constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The construction of this famous monument is said to have taken 22 years, starting from 1631. Later, on visit the Agra Fort, the walled city constructed by Famous Mughal emeperors and then to Itmad-ud-Daulah, the exquisite tomb of a Persian adventurer who became chief minister at the Emperor Jahangir’s court. • Day 5: Drive Agra to Bharatpur (55 kms/01 hour) & Train Bharatpur to Ranthambore

  This morning depart Agra for Bharatpur Railway station, enroute stopping at the deserted ancient capital of Emperor Akbar, Fatehpur Sikri. From Bharatpur Railway station board the 11am train for Ranthambore the next stop on your Golden Triangle and Ranthambore tour, that arrives at 1 pm. On your arrival in Ranthambore you will be met by met by our representative and he will escort you to your selected jungle lodge where you will stay for 2 nights and later you will be picked up for an evening game ride into Ranthambore national Park. Overnight stay in Ranthambore.

• Day 6: In Ranthambore

  Morning and evening safaris into the Ranthambore National Park accompanied by an English speaking Naturalist. Game drives in Ranthambore are conducted using 4WD vehicles. Overnight stay in Ranthambore.

• Day 7: Drive Ranthambore - Jaipur (180 kms/03 hrs.)

  After the early morning game ride in Ranthambore National Park, continue your drive to Jaipur, the pink city the next destination on your Golden Triangle and Ranthambore tour. Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan and is called the pink city because of the pink tinted construction in the old city. This city was founded in 1727 by Maharaja Jai Singh II. He positioned the city with rectangular blocks according to early Hindu architecture. On your arrival in Jaipur, Check into your selected hotel. Overnight stay in jaipur

• Day 8: In Jaipur

  After the breakfast start the full day sightseeing of Jaipur that includes the beautiful Amber Fort, 11kms from the city. Amber was once the ancient capital of Jaipur. The Fort is an excellent illustration of Rajput architecture, impressively situated on a hillside facing a lake, which reflects its walkways and walls. Returning to Jaipur, visit the palaces, museums and the halls of the City Palace (still a royal residence) and the Hawa Mahal, the Palace of the Winds. Finally wind up your sightseeing by visiting the Observatory, Jantar Mantar. It was built by Maharaja Jai Singh in 1728. Jantar Mantar appears to be an inquisitive collection of sculptures but in fact each construction has a detailed purpose such as measuring the positions of stars, altitudes and azimuths, and calculating eclipses. • Day 9: Drive Jaipur to Delhi (250 kms/05 hrs) and depart Delhi

  Your Golden Triangle and Ranthambore tour comes to an end in Jaipur, drive to Delhi stopping at the Neemrana Palace the most elegant and historical heritage hotel, for tea.
